About Us

Our alcohol calculator is a partnership between BuzzCheck Inc. and CG Labs. CG Labs has been working with local and state governments as well as DUI lawyers for over 10 years. CG Labs has applied the same formulas used within this calculator to determine a person’s BAC (blood alcohol content) at a specific time during the drinking experience. These formulas have been considered valid calculations by courts within the U.S.

BuzzCheck provides marketing support in order to spread the word about this BAC Calculator. In addition to this tool, BuzzCheck also provides cause marketing promotions and programs to support taxi gift card giveaways.

Our BAC Calculator

This alcohol calculator is unique in the market as it uses the Kinetics formula. Nearly all other online tools in the market today utilize the Widmark and Watson Formula.

The difference is that our alcohol calculator takes into account some very key factors that the others do not. We consider how long you are drinking, what your tolerance is and how hungry you are. Without taking these points into consideration, your BAC level would be quite different.

Our tool will also show you how long it will take to get to your maximum BAC percentage as well as how long it will take to get completely sober.

How accurate is our calculator?

The only way to know with 100% accuracy your BAC level is to have a blood test. It is very difficult to know your exact BAC level as there are many variables that are considered.

Developed by CG Labs, our tool utilizes formulas that have been used in U.S. courts to determine the level of culpability of an accused DUI suspect. These formulas have been considered valid calculations by courts within the U.S.

We’ve carefully taken into consideration many elements to provide one of the most comprehensive and accurate alcohol calculators in the market today. (For detailed information, please visit BAC Calculator.)

The cheap handheld breathalyzers that are made with semiconductor cells are highly inaccurate and unreliable. An expensive fuel cell breathalyzer (around $250) is a good investment and will give you a good indication of your blood alcohol content. However, they are expensive, they won't tell you what your BAC will be in the future, and they have margins of error of +.01% - -.01%. For more information on handheld devices vs our test, please visit our page on breathalyzers.
